Eagle's Nest Voyagers Co-op was created to enrich the education of elementary and middle school-aged children by offering group setting classes, giving our children an opportunity to try things Mom and Dad might not do at home. It is a wonderful place to meet other homeschoolers and make friends. The kids seem to like it too. J We even provide a structured environment for little pre-school Voyagers with age-appropriate toys, playtime and snacks! All classes are taught from a Christian perspective. Membership in Eagle’s Nest is a prerequisite for participating in Voyagers. Voyagers is for parents, too, and Mom or Dad must participate by either teaching or assisting in a classroom [though not necessarily their own child’s classroom]. Past classes include Art Appreciation, Medieval Times, Nature in a Nutshell, Animal Habitats, God and Family, Ceramics, Puppets, American Girls, Georgia History, Karate, and many others. Classes are offered one day per week, for two 10-week semesters. We meet at Crossroads Church on Thursdays from 12:30-3:30. Most classes are divided up by age groups so that our children can enjoy fun, age-appropriate activities with kids their own age. Parents and their children can sign up for their preferred classes each semester, although placement is done on a first-come, first-served basis. Our plans for the 2008-2009 school year are as follows:
Parent’s name Address Home phone number Child’s name, birthday, and grade level (for 2008-09)
