Eluminatus

Eluminatus is a program designed to assist home educators of high school students. Classes are offered in many of the core subjects as well as some electives. Social activities are offered throughout the year as well as a formal Prom and formal Cap and Gown Graduation Ceremony.

It is required that Eluminatus participants be members of Eagle's Nest. You may review the Eagle's Nest Bylaws and Registration Form by clicking on the appropriate link on the ENCHEA Home Page.

Class Structure:

All classes are taught from a Christian perspective.

Classes are offered one day per week, and are designed to meet the requirements for CPU credits. Students participate in the classroom instruction and receive their weekly assignments. Information concerning standardized testing is available upon request.

Instructors are recognized as tutors. Their responsibility is to teach the classroom material and provide student evaluations and assessments through homework assignments, projects and testing. Course grades will be provided to the parents and students at least 2 times per academic school year.
While Eluminatus provides instruction and enrichment, the parents of the students are the PRIMARY instructors. Parents are responsible for the daily accountability of their student's class work. Transcripts, record keeping and the fulfillment of testing and graduation requirements are the responsibility of the parents.
Students are responsible for being on time for each class, completing their homework assignments on time, and conducting themselves in compliance with the behavior guidelines while on the church campus.

Welcome to Eluminatus 2009-2010

We are so thankful and blessed to have a new facility this coming year! Classes meet on Thursdays at Unity Baptist Church located at 311 Smokey Rd. in Newnan, GA. We look forward to assisting your student with their high school education. We pray this program will bless your family and provide the assistance necessary for a successful school year. Our instructors have worked very hard to provide your student with an engaging program that will prepare them for the future.

This year the registration packets for the 09-10 academic year were delayed in their release due to the need to find a new location for the programs. This unavoidable circumstance prevented us from having early registration so the class schedule will not be announced until early August when confirmation letters go out to the registered families. Families need to continue to register for classes because many of the teachers will be deciding whether or not to continue to offer or cancel the class based on the number of students on their rosters. *JULY 31st* is the date teachers have set for this decision. Class schedules will be determined after this date. A delay in your student's registration could also result in a class being filled.

We need to have registrations in as soon as possible to maximize the
class offerings.
There are no late fees in August BUT be prepared to pay for 2 months by
September 1 plus Bridge/Eluminatus registration. Late fees will be posted
September 15th.
If you were LATE for the mandatory meeting at Round Up or not able to make it at all, your next opportunity to receive a payment booklet is August 20th
at Unity Baptist Church from 7-9pm. We will be having another mandatory
meeting and open house. The building we will be meeting in is located in
the lower part of the parking lot, opposite the new sanctuary.

Instructions for Completed Registration

Please read through each download below.
Complete the Bridge/Eluminatus Class Registration Form.
Complete the Medical Release/Off Campus form.
Sign the Contract/Policies Agreement Form.
Fill out the Hall Monitor Volunteer Forms.
Return all of the above documents with your Eluminatus registration fee.
Eluminatus students must be Eagle's Nest Members. Please follow the instructions on the home page of this website to join Eagle's Nest.

The first class fee payment is due August 1, 2009 along with any completed paperwork. Registration received after September 1st will need to include the August payment.

*Students enrolling after August 27th must meet with one of our high school counselors before registration can be completed.

Registration and class confirmation will be sent within two weeks of receiving your registration forms.

All payments must include a Bridge/Eluminatus Payment Coupon from your payment booklet. If you do not have a “payment booklet” please contact Lynne Sommer at sommer5@numail.org or Kelley Mansfield at manclan4@charter.net.
