High School Activities

High School Activities & Field Trips 2011-2012

High School "activities" are activities that have been scheduled exclusively for our high school students. These activities are not meant to exclude others, but instead to make our high school students feel special.  Unless otherwise specified, these activities will be drop-off events.  The events will be well chaperoned.  We will be asking for parents to help us with chaperoning.  If you are a parent chaperone at an "activity" and must bring a younger child, that is fine, but that child may or may not be able to participate in the activity, depending upon the activity.  There may also be a charge for the younger child.

High School "field trips" are NOT drop-off events.  These are field trips that require the parent to be in attendance. (Unless, you have arranged for another parent to be responsible for your child.)  Younger siblings are allowed to attend with you, but just remember that the field trip will be geared towards the high school students.

We ask that participants adhere to the following guidelines:

  • When transporting other high school students during an event, an adult must always be driving.

  • There will be no public displays of affection during activities.

  • Appropriate dress is required.

  • There will be no leaving an activity without parental permission.

We are so excited about the things that we have lined up, and hope that your high school student will be able to join us for many of them!!  If you have any questions, you may contact Sallie Metzger at sallie@metwell.com.

Activities and Field Trips to be announced.
