The following field
trip dates are firm unless otherwise canceled for lack of participation or
the venue cancels, in which case I will notify you. Every effort has been
made to book events that your family will enjoy! I do not book field trips
when it is indicated that adult language will be used. I will post any new
opportunities through the yahoo group.

If ages are posted,
these are suggestions but whole families are welcome to any performance.

Children under 2 are
free if they sit in a parents lap for any performance.

Several of the venues
offer additional programming that is worth checking into.

Please mark your
calendars with the deadline dates and show dates.

Payment deadlines
are based on the vendors schedule for payments due.

If paying for your
reservations/tickets by check, write in the memo the performance you are
paying for. Make checks payable to Eagle’s Nest. Do not forget to
include your completed
payment slip.

If payment is not
received by the deadline date you will lose your space, NO exceptions!

If you cancel or give
your reservation away to another family please notify Helen Frassman at
the email listed below.

Tickets are issued for
Philips Arena and Fox Theater performances; all others are reservations,
no tickets. If the reservations are full, you will go on a
waiting list.

If you are a family
that participates in Explorers on Tuesdays at Royal Baptist Church, you
may sign up and pay there at the table provided where you enter the
church. There will be sign-up sheets with an envelope attached for your
payment otherwise call or e-mail me with the name of the performance and
the number that will be attending and send the payment in the mail.
Limited seating and first come (and pay) first served. I will do my best
to send reminders through the Eagle’s Nest Yahoo Group.

It is vitally
important that you arrive at the location 30 minutes before the
scheduled performance time. In many cases our group cannot check in
until the whole group is assembled.

Locomotion. After experiencing some very real family tragedies, the
power of poetry finally provides an outlet for expressing his
feelings. Award-winning novelist Jacqueline Woodson has turned her
book into an inspiring play about the journey of a boy as he moves
from tragedy to hope and from losing one family to gaining a new
one. Wonder at this boy's self-discovery through words. Age 9 and

Peter Rabbit believes he knows better than Mama Rabbit. Ignoring her
warnings he is determined to go to Farmer McGregor’s forbidden
garden. Peter slips away from the drudgery of chores on a musical
adventure to the pradise carrot patch. He’s sure no harm will come
to him as he gives in to the temptation of the farmer’s prize
vegetables. Peter not only gets a taste of fresh vegetables but also
of life and the perils of trespassing. Children are delighted as
they watch the thoroughly Scottish Farmer McGregor in hot pursuit of
that rascal Peter Rabbit. Little Peter, played by live actor Holli
Rubin, hops, scampers and finally eludes the towering farmer. Peter
makes his way to safety aided by a cat-chasing Dogfish but loses his
brand new shoes and jacket. Sheepishly, he faces the music with Mama
Rabbit. He manages to save his own tail when he admits he’s learned
the valuable lesson—”It’s better to be good than bad!”
